In being a Follower of Jesus we are called to a life of holiness. This high calling is not fulfilled because of our endeavors but because of what Christ Jesus did for us on the cross. The different practices of piety that are suggested on this site are not meant to be ways in which we cultivate holiness but are how we stay in connection to the source of grace that is life-transforming. And that source of grace is none other than Christ himself. It's by the power of Christ we are deemed holy and are made holy. Not by doing anything, especially acts of piety.

So to put it another way is to say that a life of holiness is birthed from a relationship with Jesus Christ. And acts of piety are the ways we cultivate that relationship.

Here is the point, we can't do it alone.

​

It's only in Christ by the Holy Spirit living in community with others who can't do it alone either. This is where we find the connection to the power of God to become and live in holiness.

It is to this end this site and ministry was created.
